Whitchurch Christmas Festival

Saturday 1st December 2007

Join us for our Christmas Festival on Saturday 1st December 2007 for a day of festive fun and seasonal shopping for all the family.

North Shropshire's premier Christmas event offers everything you need for stress-free gift and food shopping, including a Christmas Fair offering original gifts from local traders, the ever-popular Farmers' Market, street entertainment throughout the town, Arts and Crafts events for children at the Heritage Centre, children's competitions including Fancy Dress and Find the Robin in the Window, children's Funfair, the Air Ambulance simulator pod, other emergency services vehicles, music from the Town Band, and, as it gets dark, the switching-on of the Christmas lights. And if you're feeling shopped out, St Alkmund's Church is hosting its annual Crib Festival to remind us of the real beginnings of Christmas.

Spend the day with us and take advantage of our ample free parking, range of cafes, restaurants, and, of course, friendly local traders to keep Christmas fun and festive.
